In addition to the many great restaurants there are boat tours, horseback tours, jet ski rentals, boogie and surf board rentals, gift shops, grocery stores and many more attractions. Beach venders selling everything from beachwear to locally made gift items are all located on the main street and the beach.

Tours and Rentals Surf Breaks El Anclote break (right) is located at El Anclote beach, Playa El Anclote. This wave offers beginners an easy opportunity to stand up the first time. It is a docile rolling wave compared often to that of Waikiki. Long rides, fun for the entire family. The beach is a mix of coarse sand, coral, and rock and the bottom is rock. La Lancha break (left and right) is located just south of the El Anclote break. La Lancha is a mix of docile rolling breaks for the beginner and larger outside breaks for the intermediate surfer. The beach is soft sand and the bottom is a mix sand and rock. El Faro break (right) is located just north of the El Anclote break. It offers a challenging wave for the advanced surfer. The beach is corral and rock and the bottom is coral. La Bahía break (right and left) is located just east of the Punta Mita's North Point outer buoy. It is a fast challenging wave for the intermediate and advanced surfer. The beach is mostly coral and rock, with areas of sand and the bottom is coral and rock.
