Captain Sal, owner operator of Tunatime Sport fishing in Punta Mita is a U. S. Coast Guard licensed and International Game fish Association licensed captain, and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Captain Sal established and owned an offshore fishing school and charter business in south Florida and the Bahamas for 8 years, providing a professional “hands on” fishing school for anglers from all over the world.

Tournament wins include the Pompano Beach Saltwater Slam Big Fish Division/Heaviest Tuna and Pompano Rodeo Big Fish Division Winner.

Captain Sal’s fishing experience is truly global, from catching broadbill swordfish in the Mediterranean, chasing giant bluefin tuna in the north Atlantic, swordfish and sailfish in Florida, wahoo and marlin in the Bahamas and giant yellow fin tuna and black marlin in Punta Mita.
