Punta Mita recently welcomed El Surf Club – Punta Mita’s newest seaside retreat where Punta Mita club members, resort guests and villa renters can enjoy surf rentals and instruction, drinks from expert mixologists, a barefoot-chic vibe (fueled by in-house DJs), and Chef Pato Persico’s Mexican coastal cuisine, which highlights fresh, locally-caught seafood , gourmet tacos as well as burgers.
Punta Mita taps their very own Sergio Gonzales, a local surfer and team member of Punta Mita Ocean Sports to lead surf instruction and the surf program at this club. Sergio is a local from Sayulita and a certified SUP & Surf Instructor who has been surfing the breaks of Nayarit since he was kid.
In addition, steps from the surf club will be two al fresco beachfront private spaces with complete food and beverage services – perfect for private dining experiences and intimate gatherings.
El Surf Club is the essence of beachside dining. Whether you’re popping in for an early morning coffee, enjoying a drink with friends or a delicious dinner on the beach we have a range of meals, snacks and beverages to suit all members and visitor’s needs. Chef Pato also offers a range of daily specials created using local, fresh, and seasonal produce.
