New Dining Experience Coming to Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita

Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita has begun construction on a new culinary destination, Dos Catrinas, set to open in December 2018. Replacing the signature restaurant Ketsi, this new concept fuses a culturally rich dining experience in a modern setting, reflecting both the traditional charm and cosmopolitan urban lifestyle that are the past, present and future fabric of Mexican culture.

Dos Catrinas, references one of the most iconic and globally recognized touchstones of Mexican culture: La Catrina. The 5,383 square-foot venue will accommodate up to 278 guests and will include a main level restaurant and bar, and a second story will offer a bar and lounge, all with beautiful views. Designed by Colombian architect Saul Sasson, the space will feature regionally-inspired design elements, including copper lamps, black clay, Huanacaxtle wood and locally woven textiles, and all construction materials, furniture and décor will be locally sourced.

“Dos Catrinas will be a perfect fusion of Mexico’s rich history and modern regional cuisine and we look forward to this magical new culinary experience for our guests,” says John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.

Guests can enjoy a variety of culinary options, including casual seafood-centric fare at Bahía by Richard Sandoval, contemporary Asian-inspired cuisine at Aramara, poolside dining at the adults-only Tamai Pool Bar, and toes-in-the-sand light bites and drinks at The Shack Bar.
