Punta Mita Properties: 2018 Year-to Date Real Estate Update

Heading into what is projected to be one of the most active high seasons in Punta Mita, we wanted to take a moment to share with you some of the real estate market highlights in our community, reported from this time last year until September 2018.

 

· Mexican investors continue to show confidence in our community, accounting for nearly 30% of all transactions since the beginning of 2017.

· The level of inventory for sale is lower than this time last year, so the rule of “supply and demand” will have an impact on pricing and the overall value going forward.

· As of September 2018, the gross closed-sales volume in Punta Mita has surpassed the USD$85M mark. This constitutes a 14% increase over sales through the same time in 2017 and is an increase of 55% revenue over the entire year of 2016.

· The condominium market has shown particularly strong results, making up 54% (51/94) of all transactions since 2017.

· The average sales price for Las Marietas, DINE’s newest and fastest selling condominium project, has increased 10% since 2017.

 

The enthusiasm for Punta Mita real estate and lifestyle remains very strong, thanks in part to the continued commitment of DINE in delivering a quality product to the market promptly and standing by its low-density master plan. Since 2017, DINE has introduced new home sites, condominiums, and residences which have accounted for nearly half of all sales revenue through September 2018 (49% – $88.8M/$180.3M).
