Punta Mita Real Estate – July Update

How has the COVID-19 global pandemic affected the real estate market in Punta Mita?

We’ve been in contact with many of you over the last months, via our social media channels or email, sharing how the Covid-19 global challenge has affected the real estate market in Punta Mita. In short, it seems both buyers and sellers have mostly remained in a holding pattern, until things become clearer. Having said that, there have been a handful of opportunities and closings along with a few accepted offers in both new and resale inventory over the last 2 months. We have welcomed the increase in virtual interest, which has replaced some of the lost on-site interest attributed to the closures of Four Seasons and St. Regis resorts. We are starting to notice the demand returning, especially as a new lifestyle phrase, “personal or family sanctuary” matches what we offer in Punta Mita. If you were ever considering buying a vacation home or investment property in Punta Mita, we would welcome a phone call to further discuss the current climate and how this could be an ideal scenario for making an offer. What has been driving a lot of serious interest has come from business owners, C-suite executives, and others who in this new normal have established they can work from anywhere. Punta Mita is known for its low-density master plan, natural outdoor living, and has all of the modern-day amenities such as fiber optic internet connections for those work or school meetings.

With the Nayarit Government allowing construction to continue during this time, as long as protocols are in place, we are pleased to report all Punta Mita’s featured communities including TAU RESIDENCES & IYARI VILLAS Phase II releases, have remained on schedule for delivery. Furthermore, we anticipate model units and move in ready inventory later in the year,
