The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Style

The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort  celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a stylish weekend of luxury from December 7th to 9th, 2018, which included an exclusive partnership with renowned Mexican designer, Armando Takeda, to mark the occasion.

Takeda created the Mrs. Caroline by Armando Takeda exclusively for The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, inspired by the iconic Caroline Astor. This beautiful bag for the modern traveler cleverly transitions from spacious day tote to chic evening clutch, created with an elegant blue canvas with detail work reflecting the Huichol culture and the unique natural elements of Punta Mita. As an homage to the 10-year history of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, the St. Regis shield is printed in the interior to honor the legacy of the St. Regis, making this bag a true collector’s item.

Armando Takeda has established himself as one of Mexico’s most talented fashion designers of his generation, and we were thrilled to partner with him to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort,” said James Hughes, general manager at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort. “His modern aesthetic and use of handcrafted elements by local artisans perfectly align with The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort’s style.”

To celebrate the 10th anniversary in style, guests were invited to enjoy a special weekend which included a Mrs. Caroline, a stay in one of the resort’s stunning guest suites complete with the famous St. Regis butler service, and an exquisite Midnight Supper Celebration in the resort’s signature Carolina Restaurant from Executive Chef Manuel Peruyero.

Congratulations to the entire team of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort and to General Manager James Hughes for 10 incredible years in Punta Mita. We look forward to what the next decade will bring from this luxury resort of international distinction.
