Third Punta Mita Chef’s Table Ends with Great Success

It was a magical night on Sunday, April 8th, at the iconic Tail of the Whale signature hole on Punta Mita’s Pacifico golf course -a perfect way to celebrate the Masters, as the successful Punta Mita Chef’s Table Series 2017/2018 came to completion. This was the third edition of this always unforgettable event, this year starring golf, incredible cuisine and spectacular wines set to seductive Latin melodies gently carried by the soft Punta Mita ocean breeze.

During this exceptional gastronomic experience, three renowned Argentinian chefs -Javier Rodríguez, Fernando Mayoral and Pato Pérsico- delighted guests with their culinary expertise, presenting an exquisite three-course menu bursting with Argentine flavors and flair, served in one of the most original pop-up restaurant locations ever conceived -a bunker of the famous The Tail of the Whale hole.

One of the highlights of the event was a short golf competition, during which participants demonstrated their skill and precision at a putting challenge at hole 3B. Congratulations go out to Punta Mita resident, Michele Dussault, who won the challenge and was awarded with a beautiful, exclusive print by artist, Fernando Sandoval.

The Punta Mita Chef’s Table is a culinary series featuring high-profile international guest chefs, held at various times and dates during the high season, with this third edition in honor of the 2018 Masters. A three-day complete program of events will highlight some of the most exceptional cuisine, fine wines and creative craft cocktails from the golf industry, with invited guest chefs from some of the most prestigious golf clubs in the world.
