Announcing the Punta Mita Carnaval

Punta Mita is excited to announce the 1st Punta Mita Carnaval, a new yearly tradition of celebration in our beautiful destination. This February, inspired by the colors and culture of our surroundings, the event theme will be México, and Kupuri Beach Club will be transformed into a homage to the magic and the history of this amazing country. Some event highlights that you won’t want to miss include:

 

Punta Mita Golf Cart Parade
Friday, February 9th, 5:00 p.m.
On your mark… get set… start decorating! The meeting point will be the Punta Mita Golf Club.

Route & time:

5:00pm | Meeting point at Golf Club Parking Lot

5:15pm | The Parade Starts

5:30pm | Entrance to The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort Lobby
The route will continue the main Punta Mita road via the Palm Court then to the Four Seasons Lobby

5:50pm| Entrance to Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita Lobby
The route will continue in a return way to the Palm Court

6:15pm | Arrival to the Palm Court roundabout
The Palm Court Roundabout is Carnaval Parade vantage point for all non-hotel guests to gather and enjoy the parade. Beverages and snacks will be served.

6:30pm | Ending of the parade and return to the Golf Club Parking Lot

Carnaval Gala – Kupuri Beach Club
Friday, February 9th, 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
A masquerade ball featuring a traditional Carnaval dinner with live cooking stations and open bar from Chef Pato Persico and his team, as well as dancing late into the night to the beats of DJ Omar Covarrubias.

Costs: $100 USD (15% service charge included) per person

 

Punta Mita Carnaval Beach Bash – Kupuri Beach Club
Saturday, February 10th, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Family-friendly fun is on the agenda, and will be highlighted by the best beach activities that Kupuri beach club has to offer!  Punta Mita Ocean Sports presents the NEW Carnival Edition – Starship Surfing, where teams of 6 will be judged on their Surf Prowess and Costume appeal.

The panel of VIP judges lead by Carl Emberson will be looking for the top teams who come back with all members. Paddle board vs Hobie cat vs Kayak racing is back on the docket in the Kupuri Derby and the kids boogie board relay will round off the day, so don’t miss it!

Chef Pato Persico and our guest chefs will cook up a storm with a variety of Punta Mita beach fare from the wood-burning grill and other favorites like garden fresh salads, a ceviche bar, chicken satays, BBQ ribs, steaks, snapper Zarandeado, hamburgers, hot dogs and much more, with soft drinks, beer & beach cocktails.

Costs: Activities at no cost for the participants. F&B on consumption

 

Carnaval Sunday Brunch – Kupuri Beach Club
Sunday, February 11th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The weekend wraps up with a fabulous brunch with family and friends featuring tapas-style appetizers, a ceviche station, omelet station, selections from the grill and more. With your meal, enjoy cocktails, wine and soft drinks, as well as live music.

Costs: $55 USD +15% service charge per person
