Dos Catrinas: Punta Mita’s Newest Culinary Hot Spot

The eagerly awaited Dos Catrinas restaurant has now officially and deliciously launched in Punta Mita. Reimagining the space of Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita former signature restaurant, Ketsi, Dos Catrinas is inspired by both the rich cultural heritage of Mexico’s past and its sophisticated urban future with a unique dining experience set in a modern space designed by Colombian architect, Saul Sasson.

The incredible two-story building features spectacular ocean views, with a main restaurant and bar located on the first level and a second level housing a vibrant bar and lounge space, making Dos Catrinas the ideal option for an evening out. The beautifully imagined interior features locally-inspired design elements including copper lamps, black clay, huanacaxtle wood and locally woven textiles to bring added depth to a dining experience that encapsulates Mexico’s haute culinary scene perfectly.

With a nod to Mexico´s great past and sophisticated future, each element at Dos Catrina’s captures the many facets that make Mexican culture so rich and magical. Guests may choose from family-style meals or a more intimate dining experience, with a menu steeped in traditional cuisine from regions including Veracruz, Oaxaca and Puebla as well as innovative contemporary takes on Mexico’s most famous dishes.
