Copa Airlines, the national airline of Panama, has just launched a direct flight from Panama City to PVR-Riviera Nayarit, allowing international visitors to now easily access Punta Mita from the largest travel hub for Central American, South American and Caribbean travelers.

This new route offered by Copa Airlines, makes accessibility to Punta Mita much simpler from 79 additional destinations throughout Latin America, aboard a Boeing 737-700, which will make the 4-hour flight from the Panama City International Airport to PVR twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays.

“We’re both pleased and proud to have the new Panama-Puerto Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit route become a reality,” said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau, “This new flight avoids having to make multiple connections and decreases flight times, distances and costs for Latin American travelers, encouraging both business and personal travel to our destination.”

Copa Airlines flight CM345 will depart Panama in the morning on Thursdays and Sundays, arriving at Puerto Vallarta at 12:48 pm (local time) before returning to Panama as flight CM346 on the same days at 1:52 pm.
